Richard Obedian, M.D., F.A.A.O.S.
Dr. Obedian is an award-winning board certified orthopedic surgeon who practices general orthopedics and specializes in surgery of the spine. Dr. Obedian graduated with honors from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. He then completed a surgical internship at NYU Medical Center, followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases. He concluded his formal surgical training with a fellowship in spine and scoliosis surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Obedian was recently recognized by the Long Island Press as being the best orthopedist on Long Island 3 years in a row. Dr. Obedian is also a recognized as an expert in minimally invasive surgery and is one of the most experienced Kyphoplasty surgeons in the United States. He has been recognized as a “Top Doc” by Kyphon and has performed over 10,000 Kyphoplasty procedures. He has served on the physician advisory board for Kyphon in the past. Dr. Obedian has also received the AMA Physician Recognition Award. He is a published author in multiple medical journals and has been a national speaker on a variety of topics including arthritis, back pain, and compression fractures. Dr. Obedian takes prides in treating every patient as though they were his own family. In fact, most of his referrals come from other patients. Evan Ginsburg, PA-C
Evan Ginsburg, PA-C, has been a practicing Physician Assistant since 2016. Evan has orthopaedic-specific training and provides patient care including physical exams, determining diagnosis, ordering tests, and performing clinical procedures. Evan is a graduate of University of Arizona and received his medical training at Touro College in Manhattan. Evan and his wife live in Long Beach, Long Island with their two cats. |
