Dr. Obedian graduated with honors from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. He then completed a surgical internship at NYU Medical Center, followed by a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases. He concluded his formal surgical training with a fellowship in spinal surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Obedian is a national speaker on a variety of orthopaedic problems including back pain, kyphoplasty and osteoarthritis. He is an instructor for Kyphon and sits on their advisory board.
